Sweet, But Not Always Simple

To me, the best things in life are sweet and simple. Or both! Whether it is the country side, with its rolling hills and valleys, fields, barns, gardens growing, and animals grazing. Or other things, like planting flowers, harvesting vegetables, canning, baking pies, or hanging the laundry on the line. I have always loved the things that can be described as ‘sweet n simple.’ The funny thing is, when you put that all together, along with school, church, and everything else, your life isn’t quite so simple anymore! Sometimes you feel like you are running in circles. Trying to accomplish everything, but feeling like there is always so much more to do! And that’s because there is!

Even though life isn’t always simple, we should do our best to keep it sweet! Make an effort to do so, no matter how crazy busy your life is!

SMILE  – This is so important! A simple smile can seriously make someone’s day!

ENCOURAGE – Don’t tear people down, try your best to build them up! Your actions, words, and just simple kindness can really make a difference.

Pray – Pray for others. Let them know that people care for them. You do, and most importantly, GOD does!

HELP – Try to help and be a blessing to every single person, every single day. That doesn’t mean ‘only help when it benefits you.’ That means HELP!

LOVE – It really is as simple as that! Love your neighbor as yourself.

1 John 1:11  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Galatians 5:14  For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
